It probably comes as no surprise to you that one of the big fabrics for this fall and winter seasons is suede. It’s warm. It’s chic. It’s also the kind of material that you can wear a number of different ways.
Although suede is not the most inexpensive kind of fabric that you can purchase, it’s definitely a good investment. It’s our belief that if you get the right kind of items and you take good care of them (opt for dry cleaning or read about how to care for suede shoes here), you can keep suede clothing in your wardrobe for many seasons to come.
1. Suede flare pants
Being that 70s style is in fashion right now, flare pants are making quite the comeback. And when you see them in a soft color like this and paired up with a big flare hat, we’re pretty sure that you can see why.
2. Suede purse
Even if suede isn’t your favorite kind of fabric on the planet, at least get a couple of suede accessories. A purse would be a perfect place to start.
3. Suede shorts
If you’re not a big skirt person but you do like shorts, you can take them from the summer into the fall if they’re made out of suede (and are preferably in a neutral color).

Another thing that’s cool about suede is it can “double up” as another item of clothing. For instance, if you were to invest in a suede button down shirt, it can also look like a light jacket to wear over a turtleneck or even a graphic tee.
